ALL UNDER ONE ROOF

Meet your therapist

Professional Encourager, The “mom” friend, Chai lover

Welcome! My name is Samantha. I am a licensed independent clinicial social worker (LICSW). I love helping people navigate life’s challenges with warmth, compassion, and a little Type A organization. I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves better—whether that means untangling old narratives, building self-compassion, or simply finding space to be heard. When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me browsing a farm stand, getting lost in a good book, or hosting some kind of get together! My goal is to create a space where people feel supported, seen, and encouraged.

My Values

I believe in….

I believe in one God who saw our struggles, our pain, and our need for hope—and instead of staying distant, He stepped in. He came in human form, walked among us, and showed us love in its purest form. He came to bring freedom, healing, and restoration. This belief shapes how I try to move through the world—with compassion, grace, and a deep commitment to seeing people as they truly are: worthy, valued, and capable of growth.

I believe that every person has inherent worth and a unique purpose, regardless of their background, beliefs, or experiences.

I understand that some individuals may feel wary about working with a Christian therapist, especially if they’ve encountered judgment or misunderstanding in the past. I want to acknowledge that and assure you that my role is not to impose my beliefs on you.

Instead, my focus is on creating a safe, compassionate space where we can explore what your beliefs, values, and goals are—whether they align with Christianity or not. My priority is to support you as you navigate your journey, respecting your experiences, and helping you clarify what matters most to you.

Why The Roof?

The name The Roof Therapy and Wellness Collective is inspired by both a holistic approach to healing and a powerful story from my faith. I wanted a name that reflected a space where all aspects of well-being—mind, body, and spirit—are supported under one roof.

It also comes from the biblical story in Mark 2:1-12, where friends lowered a man through a roof to bring him to Jesus for healing. That image has always stuck with me—people coming together to make healing possible, even when barriers stand in the way.

At The Roof, my hope to create that same kind of space: a place where healing is accessible, where people feel seen and supported, and where we work together to break through whatever is holding you back. Whether through therapy, community, or future wellness offerings, my goal is to help you on your journey toward healing and growth—all under one roof.
